Represent, the creative PR, digital marketing and social media management agency, has appointed a new PR and Digital Intern as the team embark on a packed summer season.
Anna Fresen, a post-graduate student currently studying Arts, Festival and Cultural Management at Queen Margaret University, will be working alongside the team at Represent for a period of ten weeks, assisting them on campaigns and learning about what it takes to work in the professional PR and Marketing industry.
Originally from South Africa, Anna moved to Edinburgh in 2008, and has a strong history in the Scottish food and drink industry, as well as experience in live music events and the performing arts.
She brings with her a passion for great customer service and expertise in communications and online marketing.
Supporting on several client campaigns, Anna will have the opportunity to work with the National Wallace Monument, Green Tourism and the upcoming 177th Royal Highland Show (22 – 25 June 2017).
Speaking of her appointment, Anna said, “I am very excited to be working alongside the dynamic team at Represent, and to be working on campaigns for such a varied array of clients. It is clear that the staff here are very experienced, and I am sure that my time spent here will be of great benefit to me in the future.”
Judith O’Leary, Managing Director of Represent, said, “Since our move to Edinburgh, we have been very busy and now with a hectic but exciting summer season ahead of us we are happy to have Anna on board. Her experience and expertise will be a great addition to our team.”
Anna will continue the role until 13th July 2017, after which she will return to her studies and running a weekly pub quiz.
