Simpsons Malt, based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, get behind local football club – Spittal Rovers FC – by extending its sponsorship of the local club.
Following a donation ahead of the 2015/16 season that was used to equip the team with goal posts and nets, the family owned company has now provided additional funds to help kit out the players for the 2016/17 season.
And there is a good reason for Simpsons Malt to make sure the players look the part, four of its employees are part of the team – Darren Cromarty, Jonathan Simpson, Mark Bolton and Robbie Skelly.
