O’LEARY PR APPOINTS NEW SENIOR EXECUTIVE

Fife based O’Leary PR has appointed Nicola Madill as Account Manager in their Dunfermline office.

Formerly marketing manager of SSE’s music in the community initiative ‘plugged in’, Nicola has a holistic communications skills set with expertise in consumer PR, marketing strategy and event management.

Joining on Monday 13th January, Nicola will be responsible for the communication and promotion of a new Scottish food and drink exhibition – Eat Drink Discover Scotland – which takes place at The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston from Friday September 12 to 14, 2014. She will also be responsible for Seafish’s partnership campaign.

Speaking about her appointment, Judith O’Leary, Director of O’Leary PR said:

“Nicola has joined our team at an exciting time – Eat Drink Discover Scotland is a brand new event and Nicola will have creative freedom to develop an exciting PR strategy for the event moving forwards. A committed food lover, Nicola has been tasked with launching the event with a bang and to set in place a campaign that will contribute to the growth of sponsorship investment and attendee numbers in subsequent years. I am confident that Nicola will be successful in achieving a high level of awareness and credibility of the event.”

She will also assist the agency on its other major accounts, including: The Royal Highland Show, Dunfermline Delivers, Hopetoun and Simpsons Malt.

Living in Broughty Ferry, Nicola, age 32, is also a professional singer / songwriter.
